Dvd release of the week: Waltz with Bashir

“Inspired by actual events, this haunting “animated bio-documentary” chronicles one man’s descent into his own half-forgotten past. Filmmaker Ari Folman, an Israeli veteran of the First Lebanon War, wonders why his memories of the conflict are full of gaps. In an effort to uncover the truth, he reconnects with old friends and dares to confront the horrors of war. As Ari delves deeper and deeper into the mystery, his memory begins to creep up in surreal images.” – Yahoo movies
