Hear Metric’s new album

I didn’t know Metric doesn’t have a record label. Proof positive that you learn something new everyday huh? Anyway, they are one of my favorite bands and today the Canadian group announced more US tour dates!!! None in Miami though, sigh…And their website is streaming their new album Fantasies.

On TV tonight: Brick City

Everybody’s seems to be really enjoying Brick City. I mini-series airing all this week on the Sundance Channel about Newark, New Jersey. I’m going to check it out. Any doc. on a place that has been called the murder capital of the country. It’s supposed to be riveting. Part one aired yesterday, Part 2 of 5 airs tonight @10pm!

The Avett Bros. record streaming now!!!

I’m so freaking excited. Finally the news I’ve been waiting to hear. I saw these guys in concert a couple of months ago and I was blown away. I’ve been hearing really good things about their record, so I can’t wait to listen to I and Love and You from the loves o’ my life The Avett Brothers. The album comes out next week Sept. 29!
