{April 28, 2010}   TV Tonight: Sunset Daze

I miss watching the Golden Girls. TV doesn’t always give our elders a lot of screen time. Tonight a reality show, Sunset Daze, about senior citizens lives in am Arizona retirement community and apparently there’s a lot more sex going on then we thought. Hmmm…a little gross, no?

Premieres tonight on the WE channel, a double episode starting at 10pm…

To shock everyone and remind us all on how old we are getting, Twin Peaks turns 20 today! NPR profiles the show

{April 5, 2010}   Garbage Art

Garbage Dreams, a documentary that follows around “garbage people” (people who recycle 80% of the trash they collect), has inspired a flicker communty of garbage art lovers.

The doc premieres on April 27 on PBS’s Independent Lens series (check local listings)

{March 3, 2010}   The Ricky Gervais Show

Ricky Gervais is a celebrity crush of mine. I would just love to be invited to just sit and listen in on his conversations and that’s perhaps why for the past two friday nights, I’ve been sitting here after my roommates go to bed laughing my ass off and getting my wish. Are you all into the Ricky Gervais Show as much as I am? Is doesn’t really have a story, except how stupid Karl Pilkington is. The three of them, Gervis, Pilkington and another friend of Gervais Stephen Merchant just sit in a radio studio and give voice to their animated selves and we get to listen. I’m loving it, here’s what NPR had to say about the show.

Watch Fridays at 9pm on HBO

{February 25, 2010}   TV Tonight: Archer Marathon

Archer marathon tonight starts @10pm, in case you’ve missed the show

Forget about Jay, Dave, even Conan, who joined Twitter yesterday if you didn’t hear, watch Craig Ferguson

I wish this show had less drama and more tattoos, but LAink continues tonight @10 on TLC
