{December 31, 2009}   Last News post of the year

Let’s celebrate 2009 by doing one last news post of some of the newsworthy things I haven’t gotten around to posting yet. Hope your last day of 2009 and the ’00 decade is great! For me personally, the first half of the decade was pretty terrible. I mean I was in Florida during the who election debacle and George Bush was in the White House – by the end of the decade picked up steam and I’m hopeful for the next year and decade. Happy New Year!

From Paste Magazine, a nifty list of the best books of the decade. Interestingly, to only me maybe, I read the #2 book on the list at the beginning and then again at the end of the decade; loved it the first time and could barely get through it the second time.
